A new menace
If rumors of a new breed of “smart” zombie prove to be true, it’ll surely mean the end of humanity… or what’s left of it, at least.
You must assemble your team of Vanguards and travel back to ground zero to uncover the secrets left behind by the mysterious Dr. Fleming in hopes that his research holds the answer to humanity’s salvation.

Play with or without a fitness tracker
The Outbreak syncs steps and workouts from Apple Health (iOS) and Google Fit (Android), which connect activity from hundreds of fitness trackers and apps.
And because Apple Health and Google Fit can sync steps directly from the smartphone’s internal pedometer, using a fitness tracker is purely optional.
Frequent Questions
Does The Outbreak™ require a fitness tracker?
No. For users who don't have a discreet fitness tracker (like a Fitbit), The Outbreak™ can use the smartphone's internal pedometer to track activity. For users who do have a fitness tracker, The Outbreak™ connects to Apple Health (iOS) and Google Fit (Android), which each sync data from hundreds of fitness trackers and apps.
How does this work? What happens once I purchase a mission?
On this page you can specify your mission start date, the activity prescription, date and timezone, and the number of tickets to buy. Simply select your options, add the mission to your cart, and complete checkout to proceed.
Once your payment is processed our system will create your challenge and you'll gain access to your Mission Manager, where you can invite participants to download the Outbreak iOS/Android app and join your challenge. The Mission Manager also allows you to control the start date, add more tickets, manage the teams in your challenge, and more.
Can I purchase more challenge tickets later if I don't know how many people are going to participate right now?
Yes! Once you've purchased a challenge, there's a user-friendly challenge admin area where you can add more tickets for participants to use.
What kind of user support is included?
We have a detailed support portal with dozens of topics in easy-to-understand Q & A format, and our support staff is on deck to answer questions via an email ticketing system.
I'm not sure which activity prescription to choose... help!
For most groups, the standard prescription is plenty. It starts easy and escalates week over week. It'll include a nice mix of steps required to outrun the zombie horde, and exercise to fight through obstacles. If you've got a particularly athletic group, the extreme prescription ramps up the difficulty.
Why do you ask for the primary time zone?
Some game mechanics, like daily step goals, require a cutoff time to transition to the next day or week long period. We recommend that you choose the time zone where most of your group will be.
Is The Outbreak™ family friendly?
Yes. The tone and visuals are all family friendly.
What are The Outbreak™ app's minimum requirements?
For iPhone: iPhone 6 or newer with iOS 11X or higher.
For Android: Android version 5.1.1 or higher. Device needs to have at least 2GB of ram, higher with some devices.

THis game reminded me of who I’d actually like to be paired up with during an actual outbreak…and who I wouldn’t. 10/10 would ditch all MILs

GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT!!!::: So I missed the first day of the challenge because I fat fingered my email when I set up my account and couldn’t log back in.
The customer support is GREAT. They knew right away what was up (I told them the app was broken, but they could tell it was a registration typo… ooops). AND they were able to read my steps from yesterday and give me full credit.
Oh it’s on now!

Man we just did this and it’s like “GAME ON”. We skipped the Tryout because we wanted a 6 week one. Got up to 10K steps a day (never thought in a million years I’d do that) but also these @#$#@!!! left me with a story cliffhanger… Now I need to do Scavenger Run to see if I can find the doctor!!! O> Dayum son, you’re good!

Awesome! I walked more in two weeks than I normally walk in an entire month! On my best day, I logged 27,000 steps. Totally amazing and I followed through for the team! I would have never done this if not for the TEAM!

I wasn’t able to precreate all the teams before the challenge which sucked. Cool concept though.

this game would be 5 stars but we had a team member that didn’t put their steps in which was annoying

This game tracks my steps and lets me use them to fight Zombies. I’m teamed up with my crew from work and we are _CRUSHING IT_.
