Hevy is a popular app for tracking your weight-lifting exercise. Hevy syncs its data via Health Connect on Android and Apple Health on iOS.

Note: As Hevy only tracks exercise, you will need to pair another activity source to A Step Ahead to sync your steps into the game.

Troubleshooting

My exercise isn’t being added to my bank
There are two major causes of syncing issues for Hevy:

  1. A Step Ahead doesn’t have the correct permissions from your health platform
  2. Hevy is not set to sync its data with your platform

To fix issue 1, check the App Permissions for A Step Ahead in your phone settings and make sure all requested permissions are set to Allow.

To fix issue 2, follow the one of the guides above:

How do I manually enter steps?
Hevy doesn’t support steps at all, so you’ll need to add another activity source to receive steps in A Step Ahead.

How do I get power?
Hevy workout durations are transferred to A Step Ahead as power.
